Adverbs of frequency are adverbs of time.
Adverbs are words that modify verbs, adjectives and other adverbs.
They describe how often something occurs (when), and do not always describe the exact time frame.
In addition to that, adverbs are used to tell where, and how an action was performed. They can also indicate the quality or degree of something.
