Superlative

Superlative: Express the Highest or Lowest Degree

Use superlatives to show the highest or lowest degree of a quality among three or more items. You can form superlatives by adding -est to short adjectives (e.g., “tallest”, “fastest”) or using “most” or “least” with longer adjectives (e.g., “most beautiful”, “least interesting”). Superlatives help compare things or people by indicating which one stands out, like “the smartest” or “the most hardworking”.

Learning superlatives improves your ability to compare and express extremes in speech and writing.
